For borrowing/sharing items with your friends (this does not apply to rentals), if you think someone has obsconded with an item you've loaned, reach out to support. We'll do what we can to help you recover your items, however Omni can’t be responsible for the fate of your items when they are not in our possession - we're simply the facilitator connecting folks with one another. We recommend that members stay within their comfort zone when lending items to others. While we don't currently have a mechanism for financial transactions in place, many members use platforms like Venmo to ask for a deposit or rental fee before granting others permission to access their things.
